I am an existing MyRepublic subscriber, can I port-in my number from another telco?

Learn how to port your existing mobile number from another telco to your MyRepublic postpaid plan (physical SIM or eSIM). This guide walks you through the eligibility requirements, application steps, required documents, and what to expect during the processing period.

Switching Your Postpaid Number to MyRepublic (Physical SIM or eSIM):

Numbers registered under a company name can’t be transferred to MyRepublic right now. We’ll let you know when that changes.

Steps to port your number:

  1. Download the form: Get the Mobile Number Portability Application Form.

  2. Attach documents: Include a copy of your NRIC/FIN (both sides) with the completed form.

  3. Provide your details: In your email, include your current MyRepublic mobile number or customer ID.

  4. Send your application: Email everything to [email protected].

  5. Processing time: We’ll process your request in about 2 working days. Your current provider will finish the porting in another 1–2 working days (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

  6. Stay updated: You’ll get SMS notifications about the status of your request.

Notifications: Expect SMS updates from submission through to finalisation so you know what’s happening at each step.

Before applying, keep in mind:

  • Make sure all MyRepublic accounts are up to date with no outstanding balance.

  • Your personal details (name, NRIC, phone number) must match those on file with your current provider (e.g., Singtel, M1, StarHub).

Please be aware: There may be a brief service disruption during the switch. Also, we can’t process requests for numbers that were ported from another provider previously.
